RegMed Forum 2026: Clinical translation of advanced therapeutic approaches

Kaiserin Friedrich Haus
Advances in medical life sciences, biotechnology and material science allow for increasingly complex and unconventional but patient tailored therapeutic approaches with a tremendous, often curative, potential.

Within this year’s RegMed forum, we want to bring together actors from academia, start-ups and industry from all over Germany and beyond, to share their experiences on the challenges in the clinical translation of advanced therapeutic approaches including Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) as well as advanced medical devices and combined products. This includes specifically aspects of manufacturing, regulatory requirements and clinical trials.

Furthermore, we invite structural programmes in Germany which want to support and enable these innovations to allow goal-oriented preclinical development, accelerated clinical translation and patient access to novel high-quality therapeutic options.

To underline the national importance of this topic, we involve Munich as a co-organizer and perspectively want to enlarge this to further stakeholders.

Our target audience includes academia, start-ups and industry with translational scientists, physicians with interest in clinical trials, manufacturers, clinical trial sponsors and providers of innovative therapies to enable active exchange of experiences, concepts and strategies for a more efficient clinical translation of novel therapies within Germany and Europe.

This event is organized by the BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies @Charité, Berlin Partner, HealthCapital Berlin-Brandenburg, the National Strategy for Gene and Cell Therapy as well as the German Stem Cell Network supported by Martin Hildebrandt from Technical University of Munich.
