Cohort 2 of the German Accelerator South Africa Market Discovery is built for German life sciences and health technology companies asking a single question: does South Africa belong in our growth plan? Over six weeks of virtual preparation, curated introductions and a five day on-site sprint (November 16 - 20, 2026) across Johannesburg and Cape Town, founders meet the hospitals, laboratories, payers, regulators and research institutions that decide whether a health technology gets adopted, and leave with an evidence-based yes or no.
 

Eligibility criteria include, among others:

  • German-based startup, Pre-Seed to Series A.
  • Life Sciences or HealthTech focus.
  • First traction in DACH or wider European markets.
  • Looking for implementation, clinical or distribution partners
