Applications open for the Berlin Startup Scholarship by Science & Startups!
With the Berlin Startup Scholarship, Science & Startups supports founding teams who want to turn innovative, science- or technology-based ideas into scalable business models.
The new Batch III focuses on the resilience of critical infrastructures, including areas such as:
- Energy systems — smart grids, grid stability, renewable integration
- Cybersecurity & OT/IT security for critical systems
- Water, waste and public utility infrastructure
- Communications and digital control systems
- Transport & logistics resilience
- Health supply chains and emergency services
- AI-based monitoring, risk detection and early warning systems
What the program offers:
- €2,500 scholarship per person per month
- 12 months of funding
- Mentoring, workshops, and one-on-one coaching
- Access to university laboratories, prototyping facilities, and research infrastructure
- Integration into the Science & Startups and JUNI innovation ecosystem
The “Berlin Startup Scholarship – Science & Startups for Democratic Resilience” is funded by the European Union and the State of Berlin through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
