EURICE, together with EU-funded JOIN4ATMP, will host a plenary session exploring Advanced Therapy Medicinal products (ATMP) and what it takes to bring these innovative therapies from lab to life.

 

ATMPs have the potential to advance personalized medicine, particularly for complex and severe diseases where there is currently little to no standard-of-care option, including certain cancers, autoimmune and rare genetic diseases. However, bringing these products to patients involves significant challenges – from meeting regulatory requirements, managing cost of ATMP development and manufacturing, to ensuring the affordability and accessibility of treatments.

The session will be followed by a reception. 

The event is open to anyone interested in the future of medicine.
