Are you a researcher, clinician, health care professional, designer, developer, engineer, regulatory expert, corporate innovator, entrepreneur, investor or mentor working in digital health, or generally interested in this topic?

The BIH Digital Health Forum offers:

  • Talks and panel discussions on the latest digital technologies and their application to healthcare
  • Open mic for everyone to present a pain point, idea, project or solution to seek support.

The event series is organized by Berlin Health Innovations (BHI) and Hacking Health. This time, we are happy to collaborate with the Berlin Meetup Group ”Machine Learning in Healthcare”.

Topic: AI-driven Support in Healthcare – Beyond the Buzzwords

Agenda (tentative):

  • 17:45-18:00 Doors open
  • 18:00-18:10 Welcome: BHI, Hacking Health, Meetup Group Machine Learning in Healthcare
  • 18:10-18:40  Keynote: Dr. David Higgins, TU Berlin, Institute of Software Engineering and Theoretical Computer Science / Modelling of Cognitive Processes, Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin, will demystify key technologies and methods beyond the term “AI-driven” in healthcare
  • 18:40-19:30 Panel discussion moderated by Dr. Vince Madai, Charité, Department of Neurosurgery, Co-organizer of Meetup Group Machine Learning in Healthcare, with focus on best practice examples from Charité and beyond, and challenges of AI-driven support in healthcare
  • 19:30-20:00 Open mic: Participant speed talks – challenges, ideas, projects, solutions and any requests/asks (suggested format: “I am… I am interested in/working on… I am looking for…”)
  • 20:00-21:00 Networking with drinks and snacks.
