Information on the Demonstrations:

PURAITE is a young start-up and its core technology is a AI-powered search engine geared towards medical researchers. Their aim is to revolutionize the way academia conducts research by focusing on the following core values:

  • Minimizing Time-to-Insight by accelerating the speed in which life science researchers gain insights
  • Access for All: We believe that everyone, no matter the geography, should have access to the tools they need to advance their research. That’s why we offer our basic product free of charge to everyone
  • Cutting-Edge AI Technology: Our state-of-the-art machine learning approach empowers researchers everywhere to push the boundaries of discovery

ProtoPatient helps revolutionising diagnosis prediction from clinical admission notes, preventing doctors from overlooking possible risks and helping hospitals to plan capacities.

  • It simulates patients at admission time, when decision support can be especially valuable, and contribute a novel admission to discharge task with four common outcome prediction targets: diagnoses at discharge, procedures performed, in-hospital mortality and length-of-stay prediction. FAIR Digital Objects Manager is designed to optimize the management of FDOs following these principles and the FDO specifications. The FDO Manager is tailored to manage research artefacts such as datasets, codes, and publications, to foster increased transparency and reproducibility in research.

AMPEL-CDSS is a digital infrastructure that enables clinical AI applications in routine healthcare. by monitoring the entire clinic and alerts as needed via email, phone, or the digital workplace on the ward.

  • From 2024 onward, AMPEL will be expanded as an open-source initiative, led by the University of Leipzig Medical Faculty. As the leading CDSS in Germany in terms of scope and evidence, AMPEL aims to set future standards for transferring state-of-the-art medical evidence into routine care and accelerate the research of digital assistants in hospitals.
