Eckert & Ziegler Awarded for Excellent Training Quality

Eckert & Ziegler has been awarded for “excellent training quality" by the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The award recognizes the quality of training of young employees.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) evaluated the training at Eckert & Ziegler based on more than 40 criteria. Amongst other things, the general conditions, the implementation and the supervision of the training were evaluated. The auditors were able to get a personal impression of the training conditions during an on-site visit. Especially convincing were the onboarding processes, the individual operation plans adapted to the training framework plan, and the team-building measures. In addition, Eckert & Ziegler impressed with the fact that trainees are involved at an early stage in independent projects which promotes social skills.

"We are very pleased about this award. The best proof that the education at Eckert & Ziegler is of a high standard are our great trainees", explained Dr Harald Hasselmann, member of the Executive Board of Eckert & Ziegler AG. "The IHK certification shows that we are on the right track. It will make Eckert & Ziegler an even more attractive company for school leavers. Significant for the very good training at our company is the large number of former trainees who support us as specialists in various departments of our company. The hiring rate is around 70%."

Since 2005, Eckert & Ziegler has been regularly training industrial clerks and IT specialists for system integration. The application deadline for a training position at Eckert & Ziegler is mid-March every year. The apprenticeship begins in September of the same year.
