The “Future Award Healthcare Industry” is awarded annually by the Club of Healthcare Industry (cdgw). The award consists of two parts: a reward of 5,000 euros and a publication of the award winner in the professional magazine “kma” (Thieme group). These include the health business magazine and the online presence.
The kma is a media partner of the cdgw-Future Award and accompanies it intensively. The closing date for applications for the current year is 11 August 2019. cdgw-members as well as external members can participate. Application and participation are free of charge. The admission to the competition will be decided by a jury.
The Future Award aims to provide a forum for innovations in the healthcare industry and to make them known to a top-class group of experts from hospitals, industry, media and services. Based on the abstracts submitted, the jury decides on the admission to the competition. Criteria for the granting of the award are originality, creativity, network character, practicability, patient and customer benefits, social relevance and cost efficiency of projects or products from all areas of the healthcare industry. Each participant is given a maximum of 10 minutes to present their topic.
The winner shall be the person who is able to obtain a simple majority of the votes cast by the members present and the approved presenters. The election shall be by secret ballot.

The Club of Healthcare Industry is a business club. It is made up of companies from all areas of the healthcare industry. The cdgw offers executives and companies from the healthcare industry a national networking platform and has established itself as a strong voice of the healthcare industry. It is neutral and independent.
