The DBT brings together entrepreneurs with scientists and partners from politics, funding institutions and administration.

The two-day program will highlight the diverse fields of application and potential of biotechnology, from health research to the bioeconomy. The German Biotechnology Days are jointly organised by BIO Deutschland and the Council of German BioRegions.

Biotechnology for the future of medicine –
Berlin’s approaches to more precision medicine

How can biotechnology contribute to overcome current and future challenges in (the area of personalised) medicine? And what are innovative approaches in science and industry from Berlin and beyond to address important research questions? This session will provide an overview of pioneering initiatives, in the fields of AI in healthcare, cell-based (interceptive) medicine, gene and cell therapies, and the development of human model systems.
