Innovative bioanalytics in food and in humans

Facing our ageing society healthy food is becoming a central issue. However, our daily habits often bar the way to healthy nutrition. Novel food is expected to encourage healthy diet and to prevent diseases. But can we quantify healthy effects of food and examine how its versatile ingredients are metabolized? In order to address these questions, foods, as well as humans have to be examined. This requires constantly new insights and developments in the area of nutrition science, food analysis and in vitro diagnostics.

Do you research in these areas or are you interested in driving these topics forward? We would like to cordially invite you to take a closer look at technological approaches in bioanalysis of foods and humans with us and to discuss possible synergies of new co-operations.

Please notice: Talks will be given in German. However, presentations’ slides and posters will be in

English.

Call for Paper:

Submission of abstracts (maximum one page) for poster or short presentation in the following fields are desired:

•       Bioanalytical methods measuring healthiness of food

•       Biomarkers for healthy nutrition

Contributions dealing with related topics are also welcome.

There are still free poster spaces! Deadline extended untill November 26th.

Please upload your abstract as pdf (named: "Biomarker_nutrition_NAME.pdf") when registering for the event. If you have questions, please contact Isabel Hahne, isabel.hahne(at)berlin-partner.de, 030/46302544.
