At conhIT – Europe's most important industry event for healthcare IT – in Berlin, the capital region uses its home-court advantage to present innovative healthcare IT solutions, expert dialogues and networking between companies, investors and creatives both at the Berlin-Brandenburg joint booth in Hall 1.2 (D105) as well as through a variety of other activities. Daily excursions to stakeholders and e-health technology users in the capital region are also part of the program.

The aim of the networking meeting during the conhIT is to bring Austrian, German and Swiss companies in the field of portable, near body electronic devices together, to promote international cooperation. Telemedicine in acute stroke treatment

When dealing with strokes, the period leading up to the beginning of the treatment plays a decisive role. Telemedicine enables a teleradiology diagnosis of the patient’s situation even before arriving in the specialized unit (stroke unit) of the clinic. The excursion will present this interaction.

In the field of pathology, telemedicine enables the pathologist to control the microscope and determine the medical indication in real-time during an operation, and disregarding the geographical position of patient and pathologist. This will be demonstrated.

Please register for the free conhIT 2016 excursions. As the available space is limited to 20 participants, availability is on a first come first serve base. All participants will be driven to the excursion destination and back.
